Volcan Rano Kau

Rano Kau is an inactive volcano located at the southwest part of Easter Island. It constitutes one of the three big cones that make the island's surface. It is 324 m high and, according to geological inferences, its origin goes back to an eruptive process which took place 2.5 million years ago.
